The 2017 Beach Revue not only features 40 beautiful bathing beauties, but also a great lineup of judges, emcees and guests!

Returning for her seventh year as emcee, Alicia Cahill brings her quick wit and vintage style to this year’s Revue! An “Islander By Choice” herself, Alicia arrived in Galveston in 1996 to attend Texas A&M University at Galveston. After graduating she couldn’t imagine giving up island life and decided to put down roots. Alicia is the owner of The Kitchen Chick, a boutique kitchen wares store in downtown Galveston that offers gourmet-caliber tools and accessories. Prior to that Alicia worked for the City of Galveston as their Public Information Officer and spokeswoman. When she is not busy running her business you can usually find her in the kitchen, cooking up something incredible!

Taylor is our reigning Miss Bathing Beauty 2016! Hailing from Houston, Taylor swept the judges attention at last year’s revue and will be bringing her contestant experience to this year’s event. She loves Galveston’s unique character and the “in the moment” feeling that still respects it’s historic past.

We take pride in Beach Revue’s history, which is why there’s always a seat for the president of Galveston Historical Foundation. This year, that honor goes to Monty Bludworth. An active supporter and GHF and the 1877 Tall Ship ELISSA, Monty is ready to put pen to paper as he decides our 2017 winner!

Kimber Fountain is the Editor-In-Chief of Galveston Monthly. She’s also the author of the soon to be released book Galveston –  Seawall Chronicles. She will be bringing her deep knowledge of Seawall history (which was home to the original Bathing Beauties Contest) to her time as 2017 judge.

Suanne is a costumer, burlesque performer, bio-drag Queen, and blogger, with a penchant for pin-up dresses. She is the founder of the blog SoSuanne.com and The Big Burly Project, a group dedicated to sharing the art of burlesque as a vehicle to self-discovery, greater self-esteem, and personal empowerment.

Ryan Luanne Carpenter is a Galveston native. She is currently in the 8th grade at Austin Middle School where she plays volleyball, sings in the choir and is involved in theater. Her pastimes include annoying her two younger brothers and scamming her mother into sleepovers.

She loves riding her bike on the seawall and has a 3 dogs. The most majestic dog being a pug, of course.  This is her 4th time to sing at the beach revue.
